♂ Vegetarian Belachan Chilli - Where To Buy?

Tian Rian - Extra Spicy Vegetarian Balachan Chili

Belachan, better known as shrimp paste is a common ingredient used in Asian cuisine. It is made from fermented ground shrimp mixed with salt. This is the vegetarian version of Belachan chilli with no shrimps. So go ahead and enjoy! I used this in some of my Chinese dishes here.

From personal experience, this is suitable for cooking but not as dipping sauce. You should be able to find this and other brands of Belachan at some vegetarian stalls and outlets.

SGD2.00+ for 180gm.
Available at Friendly Vegetarian Food Supplier
Location: Pasir Panjang & Ang Mo Kio, Singapore.

Thus, I am most willing to share with readers (Singapore, Malaysia and international) where I get the most value-for-money ingredients that are slightly uncommon. See more of the great, affordable & healthy stuff I am always get.
